Find out if you are a good candidate for Unplugging the Thumb program.
1. Are you able to be a co-director with your child, helping as you are needed, but not being controlling or demanding?
2. Are you willing to set aside a few minutes of private time daily for ten days with your child without distractions?
3. Are you willing to let your child make the important decision to quit?
4. Are you able to gently let your child know that you have faith in his/her decision and ability to quit?
5. Are you willing to follow through with the program as recommended?
How many Yes answers did you get?
If you answered yes to all 5 of the questions, or if you are confident that you can make the necessary changes to be able to say “yes”
to all of them, then you ARE a candidate for Unplugging the Thumb
If you honestly cannot refrain from being over controlling or demanding, if you aren’t willing or able to set aside a small amount of
private time daily for the next ten days with your child, or if you usually don’t follow through with plans for your child, then you
should not purchase the program at this time unless there is another adult in the family who can follow through for the ten days.
